Our Guru Yugānandanātha’s main Guru is Brahmasree T.D.P Nambootiri of Mantra Vidya Peedom. Brahmasree T.D.P Nambootiri is the son of Tantracharya Brahmasree Damodararu Narayanararu and Devaki Antarjanam. Mantra Vidya Peedom which is popular for Gurukulam education of Tantra, Puja, Yoga, Sanskrit, Vaastu and Jyotisham, has courses approved by Kerala Devasom Board. In addition to guiding Guruji in Srividya Upasana, Brahmasree TDP Nambootiri also gave him Shakti Kalasa abhishekam and Upadesha of highly rahasya Srividya Devatas like Srividya Rajni.
Guruji learned the Misra Vedic system, which is popular as Vedic system and practiced in most of the Srividya temples in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, from Brahmasree Ramakrishna Bhat. He is the shishya of Gurudas Swami, who is the shishya of Shreedhar Swami. Brahmasree Ramakrishna Bhat also taught Guruji, Mookambika tantra which is only known to few in the Srividya tradition.
Guruji learned Dravida Kaula-Vama system from Ratheesh Acharya of Kaliyar Thandhrika Vidya Peedam. Ratheesh Acharya has studied under multiple Gurus, and for Dravida marga his Guru is Reji Dakshinamurthy of Dakshinamurthy Tantra Vidyalayam. Ratheesh Acharya also taught Guruji, Dravida Matrikam and Dravida Jyotisham. Along with Kalari and Yoga instructions, Prakashan Gurukal of Panikar’s Kalari also gave guidance to Guruji on Siddha yoga and Tantra Sadhana.
Under the guidance of Avadhuta Venugopal, Guruji got initiated into Samaya Marga. Venugopalji is the shishya of Balakrishnanath, who is shishya of Bhiravanada. This guru linage follows Srividya mantra sadhana in samaya marga, and the primary teaching is Para sadhana based on hamsa vidya.
While the above educations were all done by Guruji in person, under direct guidance of Guru, he also had the chance to learn and interact with online Kaula Misra system Archaryas like Raviji of Manblunder and Krishnaji of Medha Yoga. In addition to japa, and sadhana of various devatas, Guruji had the opportunity to learn Sri Chakra puja from both Raviji and Krishnaji. Raviji who usually only suggests japa, not only taught Sri Chakra puja but also guided Guruji to go for in-person studies of various tantric systems in Kerala.
